"Situational Awareness: Seconds Count!" is being offered as a (1) credit hour course at Colby Community College from 6/2/25-6/26/25. See the attached flyer for enrollment information. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students in Thomas County to enroll tuition free. This course is presented completely online so it can be fit into anyone's busy schedule. At a time when technology occupies so much of our time and attention, this course and information helps us to minimize the element of surprise that those distractions can make....it helps develop being aware and safe into our routine by learning a unique skill set.
2PF is offering a Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun class on Saturday, 6/14/25. This class provides the necessary information and Kansas Training Completion Certificate for applicants to apply for their Kansas Concealed Carry License. The training completion certificate is attached to your application when you apply for the license. The Kansas Attorney General's office requires this 8 hour training to be completed for the license. The 2PF mission is “To Educate and Train Students to Protect Themselves and Their Loved Ones from Physical Threats, Criminal Prosecution, and Civil Prosecution.” This is exactly what this class provides....you must know the laws, limits, and consequences of your potential actions.
